Leave Gorges of Spirits while learning the Basic Controls

While learning the basic operations such as movement, evasion, and attack in the tutorial, so advance through the valley along the yellow quest mark.

There is a Treasure Chest on the Steel Frame on the Left Side of the Plaza

To the left of the plaza where the Resonance Liberation tutorial occurs, there is a building resembling iron framework, with a Supply Chest placed on top. There's also a Sonance Casket above the dragon's head, but it's out of reach during the tutorial, so collect it later.

Jump from the Cliff and use Glider

After passing through the valley, a tutorial will appear where you will descend from the cliff with a Glider. The tutorial will progress once you jump off the cliff and tell you what button to press, so you just need to jump.

Fight Crownless at Tacet Field

A boss battle will occur at the Tacet Field. This section includes tutorials on important elements in battle, such as Evasion and Parry, so be sure to learn them.

Absorb Stonewall Bracer's Echo

In Wuthering Waves, when you defeat enemies, there's a chance they'll transform into equipment called Echoes. You can equip up to five Echoes on one character. So, it's a good idea to defeat enemies in the area while you're completing quests and exploring.

Collecting more Echoes Increases the Drop Rate

The acquired Echoes are registered in the Data Bank of the Terminal menu, and the more types and rarities you collect, the more bonuses you receive. To obtain high-rarity Echoes, you need to increase the Data Bank level.

Follow the Quest Marker to Jinzhou

Follow the quest marker and head for Jinzhou. When you reach the castle gate, ★4 Resonator, Chixia, will join you.

Open Resonance Nexus in Jinzhou

Once you arrive in Jinzhou, follow the quest markers and activate the Resonance Nexus located at the center of the city. The Resonance Nexus can be used for fast travel and also reveals nearby areas on the map and recovers HP for your party.

Enter the building and talk to Sanhua

After unlocking the Resonance Nexus, head towards the central building. Inside the building, you'll have a conversation with Sanhua and be able to receive the next quest item.

Use Grapple to Head to the Huaxu Academy

When you move to the quest marker, Utilities will be unlocked, making exploration easier with tools like the Grapple and Perception. Follow the floating grappling hook marker to reach your destination, the Huaxu Research Institute.

Clear Baizhi's Battle Test

If you advance through the story and complete Baizhi's battle test, the Convene (gacha) feature will become available, allowing you to obtain the ★4 Resonator "Baizhi". Afterwards, you will be able to access the weapon and character gacha anytime from the Terminal menu or by clicking the icon in the upper right corner.

Talk to Chixia at Panhua's Kitchen

After leaving the research institute and finishing the conversation with Chixia in front of the cafeteria, the Event function will be unlocked. You will receive a reward for your first login, so be sure to check out the Event once it is released.

Leave Jinzhou and head to Camp

After speaking with Chixia, you will head to the Camp north of Jinzhou. It's a little far away, so we recommend defeating enemies along the way and collecting Echoes as you head towards it.

Repair the 2 Beacons

To repair the two Detection Beacons, connect all colors with a line without passing through the same square. You can also test out the ★5 Resonator Jiyan before starting the first repair.

Head to Rearguards Base and defeat the boss with Jiyan

As you proceed further north to the base, you'll encounter a boss battle requiring you to control Jiyan, a limited ★5 Resonator and a formidable attacker who is great at fighting multiple enemies at once.

Head to the Qichi Village and clear Tacet Field

As you head towards Qichi Village, multiple Tacet Discords will appear. If you defeat them, you can get Astrite (stone) and EXP resource materials as rewards.

Investigate Anomalies in the Village using Perception

After clearing Tacet Field, use the Perception utility to investigate anomalies in the village. You can switch modules by holding the icon (Tab key for PC).

Proceed through the Elysium and fight Scar

In Scar's Realm, use the Grapple to move between distant platforms. You can escape by defeating the enemies that appear along the way and defeating Scar at the very end.

Climb the cliff and collect the Right Wooden Plaque

Follow the quest marker towards the direction that Yangyang had given and climb the cliff to collect the "Wooden Plaque: Right" item. Place the Wooden Plaque in the stone mechanism below to lower the water level in the pond to enter the cavern.

Enter the Cavern and collect the Old Diary

After entering the caver, go deep into the cave and follow the mysterious Tacet Discord to find the location of the Old Diary near the large tree to complete the quest. This will unlock the Guidebook (Daily Missions), and from then on, increase the Union Level to unlock the next chapters.

Unlock the Sundial

By using the clues from Act 1, you need to unlock the Sundial. Correct answer is The Shichen of Wei and Vermilion Bird of the South.

Head to The Grand Library

After you solve the Sundial, fast travel to "The Grand Library". You will see an icon on the map, it is south of Jinzhou.

Find the Secret Door by Moving the Flower Vase

Once you enter the City Hall, follow the clue and go to the flower vase at the far left. If it is the correct flower base, the entrance to "The Grand Library" will open.

Check the Symphodai

After entering the door, check the "Symphodai". To progress the story, you will need to collect 5 Sonodisks and bring it to the Symphodai.

From Behind the Symphodai, Collect the 1st Sonodisk

The 1st Sonodisk is behind the Symphodai. Collect it and connect to the Symphodai.

Head to the Left from Symphodai, Collect the 2nd Sonodisk

The 2nd Sonodisk is on the left of the Symphodai. Operate the Gong to make a path, then you can change the direction of the path by hitting the bell on the platform.

Drop down to the Lower Level and Collect 3rd Sonodisk

When you connect the 2nd Sonodisk, the water will reside and you will be able to go to the lower level. Follow the Quest Marker and collect the 3rd Sonodisk.

From the Symphodai, Go Left then Head towards the Top Right

Once you connect the 3rd Sonodisk, another path will be added to the left of the Symphodai. Rotate the bell and progress forward.

Drop down to Lowest Level and Collect 5th Sonodisk.

When you connect the 4th Sonodisk, the water will reside again and you will be able to go to the lowest level. When you defeat all the enemies that appear then you will be able to collect the 5th Sonodisk.

Go to the End of the Room

After connecting the 5th Sonodisk, you will be able to progress through the path that appears in the front. When you get to the end of the room, a cutscene will start and it will go straight to the Boss Battle. Make sure you have enough HP and use your skills or items to heal beforehand.

"Scar" Boss Battle

When the cutscene ends, you will be in combat with the Boss "Scar". The 1st formation is the same as Act 3 and the same fighting pattern, but when you cut down on its HP then he will change to the 2nd formation. Keep an eye on your HP until the end of the battle.

Head to Mountains behind Jinzhou and Talk to Verina

After you finish the conversation in Jinzhou, head to the mountains and go meet Verina. To go to the mountains, you will need to run through the waterfalls, south of Jinzhou. This way you don't have to climb up the mountain to reach your destination.

Climb up the Mountain within the Time Limit

After speaking with Yangyang, to dispurse the enemies, you will start climbing up the mountain. There is more than enough time on the time limit, so don't worry. Use the Grapple and Jump Pads to climb up.

Go Back to Jinzhou and Meet Up with Yangyang & Chixia

When the Event with Camellya finishes, head back to Jinzhou and meet up with Yangyang and Chixia. After the conversation with Aalto and Encore, follow the Quest Marker and catch. up to Aalto.

Go to Beacon near Whining Aix's Mire Fallen Grave

After the cutscene, head to the Resonance Beacon located Northwest of "Whining Aix's Mire Fallen Grave". If it is already unlocked, you can Fast Travel right away, Aalto and Encore will be waiting for you.

Solve Rotating Puzzle and Enter Facility

The Rotating Puzzle can be solved by moving the 4 discs and making a 9 o'clock shape. Press "Rotate" to move the discs and "Switch" to rotate the other discs.

Use Battery in front of Encore and Unlock Left Room

Once you are inside the Facility, pick up the battery on the 2nd floor where Encore is and open the left room. Inside the room, speak to the Illusion and collect the Battery inside.

Use Green Battery and Unlock Right Room

By using the Battery that unlocked the left room and the one you found inside that room, you can unlock the Barrier on the right. Inside the right room there is a 3rd Battery and a Supply Chest.

Unlock Pressure Sensitive Puzzle with Battery

The Supply Chest inside the right room can only be opened when the pressure plate is activated. Place the battery inside the room on top of the pressure plate and open the chest.

Turn 3rd Battery Red

The 3rd Battery in the right room can be placed on the device in the middle of the room to turn it Red. This Red Battery will be required to enter the Middle Room.

Use the Red & Green Battery to Unlock Middle Room

Bring both the Red and Green Battery and insert them in the slots that match its color to enter the middle room. Inside the room there is another rotating puzzle which you can solve by rotating it into a 9 o'clock shape.

Use Elevator and go to B1

Solve the Rotating Puzzle and you will be able to use the Elevator. Head to the 1st Floor and use the Elevator to go down to B1.

Fight with Boss "Mech Abomination"

Once you are on B1, the boss battle with "Mech Abomination" will start. You can destroy both arms to stop its movement so target one of its arms while dodging its attack.

Defeat Enemies Around the Base (Jiyan & Rover)

In Act 6, the battles will mainly be done by trial characters. When you defeat enemies, you will change between Jiyan and the main character (Rover).

Fight the Boss "Thundering Mephis"

When the story progresses, you will be in combat with the Boss "Thundering Mephis". Thundering Mephis will become invisible before an attack, so it is recommended to lock on to the enemy while fighting it.

Head to Military Base and Choose Strategy

After the Boss Battle, head back to the Military Base and a cutscene will start where you need to choose the next strategy. The correct answer is the one at the top of every question. When you choose the wrong answer the cutscene will start over so be careful.

Defeat Enemies near Disruptor (Rover)

Head to the Disruptor and defeat the enemies surrounding it. Rover and Yangyang will be fighting by themselves here so make sure you don't take too much damage.

Use Pull Function to Climb Hovering Ruins

To climb up the Hovering Ruins you will need to move the debris along the way. If you are struggling to climb up, look around you and look for a yellow shining icon.

Battle with Boss "Impermanence Heron"

While exploring the Hovering Ruins, you will be fighting one of the bosses, "Impermanence Heron". While it is flying, you can not inflict damage so make sure you don't lose sight of it and dodge its attacks.

Use Pulling Function and Upstream to Reach Highest Place in Hovering Ruins

After defeating the Boss, keep using the pulling function and Parachute to climb further up. You won't be able to ride the drafts unless you destroy the rubble first, so make sure there is nothing you can pull before riding up the drafts.

Battle with Boss "Crownless" & "Dreamless"

Once you have reached the top, the battle with the Boss "Crownless" and "Dreamless" starts. Both move very fast, so memorize its movements and wait for the right moment to inflict damage.

Unlock Rover (Havoc)

When you complete Act 6, you will be able to change the Element of the Main Character. After this, you can change Rover's Element from the character screen depending on what the enemy is resistant to.
