One of my favorite ways to make cauliflower for my family is to roast cauliflower. It is a great way to incorporate healthy eating into our meals.

I love making this Turmeric Cauliflower and using it in bowls like this Mediterranean Buddha Bowl and also works nicely as a side dish to add to any meal.

There is something about the slightly sweet taste that roasting brings out of cauliflower, paired with the crispy edges.

These types of meals are so easy to throw together last minute when you need a quick, healthy meal.

If you want a crispy roasted cauliflower make sure you roast until the cauliflower starts to turn golden brown. You could also easily make this recipe in an air fryer!

IS CAULIFLOWER HEALTHY?

It sure is! It is of course a dose of your daily vegetables, but it is also a great low-carb, low calorie substitute if you are watching your carbs.

I like to use it in things like this Cauliflower Tabbouleh or as a rice in this Spinach Cauliflower Rice.

This recipes uses turmeric which has anti-inflammatory properties.

HERE ARE A FEW REASONS THAT CAULIFLOWER IS GOOD FOR YOU:

  • Cauliflower is high in fiber. There are 3 grams of fiber in one cup of cauliflower, which is 10% of your daily needs.
  • It is a great source of antioxidants, which protect your cells frominflammation.
  • Cauliflower is high in choline, an essential nutrient that many people are deficient in.
