About the position
The job profile is characterized by the administration and execution of qualified proposal reviews in a small team (located in Romania) and intensive collaboration with other RQM team members. (mainly located in Germany)
What we expect from you:
Monitor the legal & risk & quality review desk, which is a ticketing tool where the BearingPoint business sends requests for legal, risk, and quality reviews of proposal and contract documentation;
To act upon the requests received and to interact with the business to support the clarification of open questions, the identification of deadlines and the provision of information required for supplier surveys/ requests for information and requests for proposals;
To quickly develop an in-depth understanding of BearingPoint’s policies, procedures, approval matrices, and guidelines, in particular with respect to legal, risk, and quality issues;
In addition, the candidate will rapidly require a very good working knowledge of BearingPoint’s documentation system for proposals, contracts, master service agreements, and other contract documentation (e.g. non-disclosure agreements,…);
The candidate will initially receive intensive training in these areas;
Evaluate the information and documentation submitted by the business to the joint review desk and check the quality of the information entered into the supporting IT system (SharePoint);
To answer requests for any information and advise the business with respect to BearingPoint’s policies, guidelines, and approval matrices;
Additionally, the candidate is required to answer requests for professional (not technical) support with respect to the IT system supporting the proposal/contract review process.
After receiving a request via the joint review desk, she/he should competently assess the complexity of the documentation submitted and identify important legal issues and significant risks for BearingPoint. For simpler review requests, the candidate is required to read and review the documentation, check the associated calculations, and give written feedback to the business. The candidate should document the results of their review in the relevant IT system;
In more complex cases or where the candidate has identified a significant legal issue or risk for BearingPoint, the candidate is expected to divert the request to the respective risk and quality management professionals and to BearingPoint’s attorneys. In these cases, the candidate should track the progress of the reviews, give feedback to the business with respect to progress, and verify that the required deadlines are achieved;
The candidate is expected to participate in regular team calls, report any issues or difficulties experienced, and contribute to the resolution of these issues;
Further activities to support the risk & quality management team will be required, such as supporting the update of policies and documentation, gathering data for reporting purposes, updating information on the intranet, and other similar tasks.
Experience required:
Bachelor`s degree in economics, business administration or law (preferred – ideally with focus on contract law);
Reasonable experience with common IT packages such as MS Office (Excel, Word), MS Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Teams;
To enable qualified, valuable input to be given to the business, 2-4 years of work experience, preferably including project experience, is required;
Fluency in English and German are a must;
The candidates must be capable of creating written summaries of their results in these languages.
Service-orientated mentality and be able to react quickly and flexibly to work requests;
He/She should be able to work accurately, carefully and precisely. A logical and analytical way of thinking is beneficial to this type of work;
To round off the profile, the candidate should be a cooperative team player, who is able to communicate proactively with colleagues to schedule, conduct, and coordinate the required activities;
Travel required: <10% (initial training, team meetings, occasional travel for working meetings).
Languages required: Fluency in both spoken and written English and German is required (Knowledge of another language – French, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish would be advantageous).
